Experience Sonic Slow Flow with Kristin
On going class series Sonic Slow Flow on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 - 6:45 pm in Auke Bay's Rainforest Yoga downtown location. Each class includes accessible, slow flow yoga shapes, mantra, and an extended relaxation period with healing sounds.
How can sound heal?
The words do get in the way...
For me, Gloria Estefan was right. When we're dealing with stress, grief, overwhelm, sadness, or any other heavy emotion, it can be difficult to "find the right words" to describe what we're feeling. Sound and vibration are fundamental to our existence, and can move heavy emotions, stuck energy, and other things we may be holding onto, in a way that nothing else I've experienced can. Below the level of cognition and thinking, the resonance of healing sounds brings light into dark spaces, and opens up closed pathways for energy to move, healing to occur, and awareness to prompt right actions.
